A nameday celebrates the feast of a person’s patron saint. An icon can be a thoughtful nameday gift because it connects directly with the saint whose life the person commemorates.

Confirm the exact patron saint

Many names are shared by several saints. Before ordering, confirm the person’s baptismal saint and feast day with the recipient, family, sponsor, or parish. Do not rely only on a first name.

Choose a useful size

A small icon is easy to place on a desk, shelf, or bedside prayer space. A medium or large icon is suitable for a main home prayer corner. Consider the recipient’s space and whether the icon will stand or hang.

Add a personal note

A short message wishing the recipient a blessed feast can make the gift more personal. When ordering from our site, use the optional gift-message field when available.

Order with enough time
