About Saint Tobias and Archangel Raphael
The Book of Tobit tells how the Archangel Raphael accompanied Tobias on his journey and guided him in bringing healing to his father, Tobit. Their story is a reminder of God's providence, angelic protection, and care for families. Raphael is commemorated with the Archangel Michael and the other Bodiless Powers on November 8.
This icon shows the winged Archangel Raphael guiding Tobias, who carries the fish associated with the biblical account.
